Invisalign offers a gentle and discreet way to straighten your teeth. Rather than dealing with wires and brackets, you can achieve a beautifully aligned smile using comfortable, clear aligners. These aligners are nearly invisible, so you can go about your day with confidence, knowing your orthodontic care is practically unnoticeable.
INVISALIGN BENEFITS
Invisalign aligners are an excellent choice for adults who want to straighten their teeth discreetly while prioritizing their oral health. These clear, custom-made trays not only fit comfortably but also help improve the alignment of your teeth, which can enhance your overall dental health.
With Invisalign, you can continue your daily routine without worrying about noticeable braces. The aligners are removable, making it easier to enjoy your favorite foods and maintain a healthy, clean smile.
THE INVISALIGN PROCESS
- Consultation: You will first meet with Dr. Lee to determine whether aligners are the best option for your dental needs. This visit will include an exam and a discussion about your smile needs.
- Impressions: Digital impressions will be taken of your teeth. These impressions will be processed on a computer program where Dr. Lee will design your smile results.
- Aligner Fabrication: Once your treatment plan is ready, the digital files will be sent to the lab where your customized aligner kit will be made. The lab will ship the kit back to our office where we’ll give the kit to you with instructions on how to use the aligners.
- Wearing the Aligners: Once you have your aligners, you’ll wear each pair of trays for 2–3 weeks before transitioning to the next pair in the sequence. This way, your teeth will move gradually over time without the need for tightening or elastics.
- Regular Checkups: Dr. Lee likes to personally oversee Invisalign treatments, so we’ll ask you to visit us every 6 weeks or so, just to make sure that treatment is progressing as expected.
- Post-Treatment: Once your Invisalign treatment is over and you’ve won your beautiful new smile, you can maintain it by wearing a simple retainer that will keep your teeth in place. Don’t let your Invisalign treatment go to waste!

HOW TO HAVE A SUCCESSFUL INVISALIGN TREATMENT THAT LASTS
WEAR YOUR ALIGNERS CONSISTENTLY
The more you wear your Invisalign trays, the faster you’ll get your dream smile. Invisalign should be worn at least 22 hours a day for the best results. The only times you should take the aligners out are during meals, while brushing your teeth, or while playing wind instruments or contact sports.
KEEP YOUR TEETH CLEAN
Good oral hygiene is key to your treatment’s success. After eating, be sure to brush your teeth and your aligner trays to prevent bacteria buildup. Remember to brush and floss before bed to protect your smile from gum disease and other infections.
FOLLOW YOUR ALIGNER SCHEDULE
We’ll provide you with a schedule for when you should switch between aligners. Staying on track will help ensure a smooth and effective treatment. Avoid switching sooner than recommended, as it may affect the movement of your teeth.
